I think this thread should be rename "The Official Maxis Wireless Broadband Thread #2". It will make it more official and it sort a continuation of saga for thread #1........and to add, so that others can know 'officially' the nightmares and horrible saga the subscribers are going through. Just a thought!

To get a better signal, my personal experience........
1) Try to put your modem near the window.
2) Locate the best window in yr house/condo/apartment/office etc for the signal.
3) Some of our windows may have mosquito screens. If you put your modem next to your mosquito screen, (what i mean is that the mosquito screen is in between your modem and the external) before the signal reaches your modem it will sort of disperse. Mosquito screen will act as a signal distorter. Either remove the screen or put the modem outside of the screen. But i find that it better to remove the screen (but u can close the window). Glass will not affect the signal.
My thoughts..

QUOTE(xen0 @ Apr 11 2008, 02:00 AM) streaming tv is blocked now isnt it? before i can watch via livefooty.doctor-serv.com and tvants.. now cannot... btw i got this couples nigth ago when i felt my internet was damn slow How come your network provider is celcom 3G, as according to your attached image? I thought the maxis ZTE modem is locked to maxis simcard only? Have u found a way to unlock it? Share pls.......................or this is just a hoax? ps - yr rssi signal is not so good. Ec/Io is too low means a lot of 'noise' disturbances on yr signal (that's my opinion) This post has been edited by wrigglerr: Apr 11 2008, 08:49 AM
