QUOTE(tancth @ Sep 21 2008, 04:19 AM) anyone using maxis wireless power broadband package near old klang road, kl? it claim the connection can go up to 3.6 Mbps. wats the average bandwidth? i am thinking of switching to maxis from streamyx (a real pain in the @ss). between wired and wireless broadband, which is better? [attachmentid=600499] this is the so call broadband service provided by streamyx. i think wireless would be better...i am using it by the way...in setapak jaya somewhere near sri rampai...the speed is suck actually...but i just boycott TM so i would just stay with maxis....well, i may choose to switch to U-Mobile later...anyone using it somewhere near my area? please give me your comment about U-Mobile

QUOTE(TheWandererX @ Feb 9 2009, 02:42 PM) Screw Maxis. Disconnecting so frequently since Friday. Have to keep going back to 192.168.0.1 and selecting Manual Connect Anyone experiencing the same thing? heard the maxis said that they are now "upgrading the service" i do not experience that but however my 192.168.0.1 is showing all the RSSI and the other setting is negative which mean my signal are damn weak and it is very weird.... i complaint on the 2nd of February and until now no answer yet...so i called them yesterday and tell them "if you do not call me on Tuesday, i am calling the press to tell them how good Maxis is" and hang up the phone

QUOTE(ibnuasad @ Feb 9 2009, 07:51 PM) Errr...all the RSSI, RSCP, Ec/Io must always be negative. Please correct me if I'm wrong nope, i already clarified that. normally i use..only some of them is negative...when all is negative, mean something wrong. anyway, Maxis have two more days...if they don't call me...thats it...i am calling the press and make them appear in newspaper

QUOTE(mactreouser @ Feb 10 2009, 10:30 AM) cracksys, Thanks for help. So do you mean that..all around the M'sia Broadband service almost the same in terms of speed and the range? and fix line wil be more stabile? In house use of Maxis Broadband is possible as well with the ZTE modem, the speed is fine and is good. unlike TM always DC.. ask your friends that live around your area, see whether their use of TM is good or not and do they experience frequent DC..then make your choice. use some provider that had lesser user can give u faster speed compared to those with tons of users, if many user use internet at the same time in a same area....Snake also die
