I am wondering that if I have a Maxis 3G sim card for voice, can I use that SIM and put it the Huawei modem that is being using for celcom3g for maxis wireless broadband and the charge is counted based on data?

haha.. i tot of that too.. but unfortunately, u cant do that... biggrin.gif
But..u can subscribe to data package using ur phone account for IINM RM99 or RM120 (not sure) permonth unlimited usage.. then u need to have a usb cable to connect ur phone to ur pc/lappy and dial up as usual.. its quite reliable if u intend to use it for a short while becos u can always call back the maxis center to unsubscribe at any time (after >1month iinm)..

i've used this service once but a very2 long time ago.. try dialling 123 and ask them..

If we have 3G phone, then we do not need to subscribe to data package of RM99  per month to get surfing?

3g phone is used to connect to the service.. if u dunwan to subscribe to RM99 per month oso can, but u have to pay RM0.01 per kb of donwload.. and i tell u, nowadays, most website are more than 1MB to download.. so that's like 1000kb x 0.01 = RM10 ady.. that is if u only wanna visit just one site.. sweat.gif

so might as well get the RM99 unlimited data package..
