Welcome to slow broadband Malaysia.
Nice to see another forumer from Pasir Puteh, Ipoh Central
That speed is even slower then snailmix. There is no use complaining.HSDPA is highly subscribed here. 622ms response it hardly suitable for gaming and live streaming. You can forget about voice over IP and the video conferencing.
You have 2 choices:
1) Wait for P1 WIMAX
2) Get a phoneline and use wired broadband instead.

other than that choice?? make it more fast than now??
From your speedtest result it's very likely you're just on 3G UMTS and not HSDPA. The ping rate is unusually high which further adds to this conclusion.
What modem do you use?
If it's a HSDPA capable modem try bringing your laptop to somewhere in the middle of Ipoh and retest. Probably where Stimix did his test near Jln Yang Kalsom.
^ an overpriced SOB if you asked me. they made it looks attractive by putting RM99 in big bad font.
Well like it or not, they were quite successful in capturing the :bling-bling: young girls market and making them sell their souls for the next 24 months just like what the girl host in the Youtube video mentioned.
Which girl wouldn't, when you can just pay RM99 a month while you get to show off to your friends a new glittering finish lappie which comes with a wireless broadband account?
Thing is, the performance will get sluggish as soon as you open up the second tab on your Firefox browser... For games probably you want to try out old hits like Starcraft, etc.
Somewhere in Bukit Beruntung a.k.a (north selangor,Hulu Selangor region) (3.4 Mbps), Setapak and Wangsa Maju(1.9Mbps), and Teluk Cempedak (near Kuantan)(1.7Mbps)...

You must the the one and only user in Bukit Beruntung. LOL
Consider yourself lucky since Maxis and Celcom was willing to install a HSDPA enabled node-B in your area.
