^ why would there be a difference in speed? i thought they're using same comm tower. maybe your place just got upgraded, hence explain that jump in speed.

if you could re-test using maxis BB in your area and do current comparison, it would be great. i might migrate oso  drool.gif

i believe they use different access point..hence different proxy right?

i live in prima saujana kajang,
the connection is getting worse lately..
i can't wait for Digi 3G or switch to celcom broadband while waiting for digi 3G.
i can't even surf website smoothly...alwaya have to keep on refreshing since the connection always lost.
when the network fall back to UMTS, i can't access the internet at all.
i can only connect to internet when the HSDPA network is available.

yes im thinking to switch to celcom too...
but need to test celcom coverage here first.

if HSDPA/3G coverage is your concern, i think celcom is the best...
but for speed.. it's questionable

hi guys,

i have been using maxis BB for more than 2 years using old skool modem zte mf600.
if i wanted to terminate the account do i have to return the modem?
by right it is mine after 18 months right?

if i don't have to return it i would like to unlock it and using it for other telco's BB.

do you know any place i can unlock it or i can do it on my own?

Hmm.. icic..
but digi only can use at certain place right?
pls correct me if I'm wrong  smile.gif

if out of 3G coverage, the speed will be downgraded to EDGE speed .
it is not too bad considering average speed for celcom BB (i use celcomBB if going out of town) is about 200kbps which is more or less like digi EDGE speed.
