However avg downloading speed only 270kps or 2160kbps...
Nevertheless downloading a 35MB file only took me ~45sec compare to streamyx at 1min30min..
A real suprise...probably result from the MAXIS losing battle wth MNP
However this speed only achievable using Huawei E156G USB Modem. If I use Nokia N78, the speed go bck to UMTS i.e 380kbps!!

@stimix
seriously the speed is REALLY improving right now. day time i managed to get over 50~70kBps download, which is really improved from 20~30kBps last time. probably because of the pressure maxis gets from consumers?

^ & ^^ shh, you guys should stop giving out speed test. continue with the bashing on Maxis and later on more people will unsubscribe. mua
haha, this is because so many people switch to celcom broadband because it perform better before.. but now, celcom gain too many customer (in 3rd quarter 2008, celcom broadband subsribers already exceeding maxis broadband subsribers).so, celcom performance is down (due network congested)
about MNP, i dont think its giving any major impact.. i know maxis already lost more than half a milion customers (according to some internal informer) after MNP launched.. but its only less than 5% of their total subsribers. and these users are mainly using gsm network (for voice services only), not 3g or data services.
