I'm soooooooo pisseddddddddddddddddddddddd

I couldn't even browse google page.
I called up customers service and told them that the contract that i signed stated that maxis will only cap our speed but not asking us to top up. They just replied :
'In the contract it is stated that Maxis has the right to change any of the terms and conditions'!!!

@#$#%$^#!$#^%$$@#@!@$!!!
The reason i signed up Maxis at the first place was just because the unlimited bandwidth and my area doesn't have good reception for wimax.
I'm thinking to cancel my contract now. Let them charge my RM200 for the penalty but i dun wanna let Maxis to earn more of my money in the long run unless they change it back.

Please file complain at the customer service!! Please!!
I have filed mine and the customer service told me that I'm the only person who called to complain. WTH! I don't think i'm doing too much right?
We must protect our consumers' rights!

Is terminate need to pay the remaining months subscription fees? Might as well leave it there if need to pay lol...

*I went to the Maxis center to cancel it. You have be firm with them.
Things to mention/argue about
- maxis cannot introduce such a big change to the service without informing the customer
- according to terms and conditions if Maxis changes the Service or the T&C, customer has a right to cancel the service if the customer does not agree with the new terms and conditions. But this must be done soon after the change in the service/t&c
- say that the reason you signed up was because of Maxis only throttle the speed after you reach the cap, and if you knew they would cut off the internet connection after reaching cap then you would not have signed up

*The Customer Service called up the management and the management agreed to waive the penalty as long as I returned everything including the box and pay off the outstanding.

I just upgrade my power mobile package that i using for more than a year to latest bonanza package (3GB) on 27 dec 2009. After the new policy kick in on 4th jan 2010, my internet connection was interuptted every 3-4 days and i need to wait at least 2 days for it to reconnect back. I have terminated the account and change to DIGI BB now. So far i very happy with DIGI BB and guess what? i able to get back my RM180 for the modem because over the 3 weeks i have call them more than 27 times and 8 report had been made. Conclusion is: Is time to change!!

Agree! I have been a maxis user for almost 10 years. This time maxis really disappointed me to the max so i terminated the bb contract.
Digi bb is really owesome! I have been using it for more than 1 week. It's faster and more stable than maxis bb! thumbup.gif
