It can be happen as long as we customers are united to always look for only the best option available and fair services. First thing, we need to remove 'Tidak Apa' attitude as we could not rest on our laurels.

Like mine.. I start with myself.. look for cheapest and best services... it's normal for people to look for value for money thingy nowadays as money very hard to earn and willing to delay their purchase until now... for example maxisbb offer free modem and cheapest subcription fee which is the customers before have to pay a fortune for it.... is it visible or not? The customer forces actually driving the business... if business want to get the higher volume then they must do something different to win the crowds! Simple... Cheers!

everything boil down to competition..
as you can see now, the wireless bb competition is getting more heated. thats why now all comes without contract and only throttle the speed once you hit the quota.
for wired bb, there is still no competition for tm. they monopoly this market, thts y the service sucks big time.

use opera to save more bandwidth..

also set history -->disk cache 400mb..

opera use less bandwidth compared to mozilla firefox..testes myself..

example...

you load LYN forum..it's downloading website file and save at cache..

close internet browser...load LYN forum again..faster then earlier right..

because no need to download all file since it stored on cache..

That SGD20.00 +.. if you convert to RM... it would be RM46.72.... so the cost is cheaper only RM1.28 when compare to maxisbb with 1.5GB... it was the cost different.

Yes it was great different when compare with amount of data quota (50GB) which is singapore telco company offered... Thumb up to Singapore Government on initiative taken to enhance their country.... Malaysia... no choice that we have to admit and do changes.... WAKE-UP!

Added on May 6, 2010, 10:35 amIt was sad and painful... as we paid for the services. I had that experience when I was stay at nearby Bayan Lepas Police Station, Penang. Maxisbb that time are really bad... luckily it offered 30 day trial period with the modem... so i just do return their modem and close the account without any cost... worrr...

well, i'm one of user maxis bb @ putrajaya.. for, this are was awesome.. perfect & suit my gaming needs... but, bear in mind when it is raining... the speed might lower almost 75%... but, during a normal day, it can reach maximum speeds...

maybe it depends on where u stay, total maxis user on that area,,,..

Oh ya, at night i frequently have this kind of problem , like suddenly the line gone and just nothing, kind of like dc then have to wait for a while for its line to resume like that .. >.<

I think you need to check if your speed is being capped.

If you have not been capped and yet slow. You need to cal the customer service to ask for help.

Also check if your area has coverage. It is not worthwhile if your area has no coverage and continue on the plan.

how "high" is ur signal?..is it extremely low?..like just 1 bar...

i am having second thoughts of getting this 1.5gB package liao, even they say still got 128kbps after capped but users in this thread say canot connect/load properly at all. its sadding

maybe your place more stable than eguy place
yeah, i was thinking if stable connect and also get maybe average 12kB per second still ok. but seems very easy disconnect thats why having 2nd thoughts. i bet you would potong after the rebates are finished rite?

i hit the quota last week.. my next cycle date is around 23rd..
so far, i still can browse the net/etc but the speed will be slow.. sometimes it will time-off, and i just need to refresh the page.
guess being throttle is still far better than totally cannot online at all like last time..
