Same , still wondering which brand got the best performance

Oh ya, there's 1 thing that i dislike about the modem , it had a cap which quite troublesome as i had to secure it or else i might lose it >.<

I see. haha. Oh ya, my maxis window stated " EDGE My Maxis" beside the signal bar. Does it mean its area only have EDGE? But my phone got maxis 3g line >.<

set ur modem to get WCDMA only... means u force the modem to connect with 3G even with 0-1bar...

what does unlocking the usb modem bring?

anyone know how muc is those 3-5m usb extension cable?

why turn dusty?? always connected to usb port lah..

I see. Wow, the antenna a bit expensive. Anyway, when i use the modem in my room, i keep on disconnect than reconnect again >.<

to set, connect yr modem and launch the maxis dashboard. make sure you are not connected.
Go to Tools>Options and then select network
On the Network Type, select WCDMA only and then click ok.
You are done.

i only get 3g/hsdpa line on 1st floor only..

Why don't you just use the extension cable and point out the clear window.
I managed to get from EDGE to HSDPA with that.
If you're using laptop, it's a different story liao.

I see. will do that soon. I will be staying in between of Seri Kembangan and Bukit Jalil in an aprtment at 18th floor , hopefully got good signal .
Btw, what is the different between EDGE , HSDPA and WCDMA ??
