you need to do some APN (unet for Prepaid and maxisbb for Advanced Lite) and other settings to your phone...some are compatible...check you phone guide...maxis has a step-by-step here also (under FAQ & Step 6) but quite generic cause each phone is different...

yeah they'll send some settings over...the maxis guys already set mine up during registration so i dont have experience doing it haha...

anyone facing any probs with rapidshare premium download with maxis bb recently?

Unable to download any file from rapidshare.com since last week, maxis seems blocked the site and only able to download at midnight. Did u guys share the same fate?

finally i sent my Maxis Wireless ZTE MF600 modem back to Maxis.

thank you Maxis wireless, for all the 25% joy (1st 6 months using it) and the 75% pain (after the 6th month, till yesterday).

i shall remember u as the worst wireless broadband that i ever had.

nope not location dependant it seems for my case. more like they 'marked' my acc already for heavy download. lol.

1st 6months, i can dl anything i like with speed nearly 200kBps, and happily playing online games too because latency is quite low.

after they enforced the FUP, things get awry until 1 1/2 year, and after fedup using maxis wireless, i opt for celcom and it's way better.

even the CS girl said "pakai wireless lagi ke? celcom ye?"

Yeah, i think i was categories by maxis as heavy user, average 10GB permonth. Speed was capped at o.o6mb/s (speedtest). 

same here. 6~7kBps every month with no reset.

no use complaining. they will say my line is at fault.

i'm bored already hearing "we are currently upgrading our service" or "please go to 192.168.1.1 at your browser then select GPRS"

celcom tower is super super high tower just 400m from my house... of kos celcom 3G full speed

oh my god....im just subscribe this stupid modem which ZTE 600.....very hard to receive network....nevermind later i buy USB modem and hack it like before.... 

meaning change the firmware setting and the speed like im post before...
