im using crumpler 5million dollar home..personally i find it stylish..great slr bag for travel if u don bring lots of stuff...it could easily fit my cam+ 1extra lens+blower n stil has some spaces..if i take out the blower..i probably can squeze my 50mm lens in.. =) quality wise..well..need not to say..its crumpler =)

but this crumpler doesnt come with the crumpler shoulder pad..so u hav to buy an extra pad which shd cost u around 50~60rm??i got the bag 120 in sg..nt sure the price in msia..

Im using National Geographic's Medium Shoulder bag and I love it. Looks very old school and low profile. I reckon it can fit a lot more stuff than the 7 mil home (due to the padding's are not so thick and it has more pockets)

If you want crumpler slings (which are great), I recommend you at least a 5mil (6 is a nice size) as anything below that is a bit small for future upgrades.

2million dollar is way too small..trust me...by look from outside..u wont see much diff...but 2million can barely fit 1 dslr...nothing else..not even a small 50mm lens...

actually initially my target was 2million too..but when i test out in the those..i got 5million in the end..

Bought the kata Kata Bag 3N1-20 for Sing$110.00 .. really like the flexibility of this bag ...
when i was walking around in singapore the sling across was tiring my shoulders.. so i remove the other sling and presto it became a bag pack.. love it ....

http://www.kata-bags.com/product.asp?Version=Photo&p_Id=432

now have to look for a tripod strap for the bag

hey, guys. Anyone here can suggest any bags that can fit dslr kit and lappy with power adapter, cables and such... like doreamon's poket empat dimensi, hehe.
Lowerpro 250/350 looks tempting but anything else more 'stylo'?

I'm not sure whether my bag is stylish or not, but for sure it is heavy after I fill it with 2 lenses, 1 body, a tripod and piece of sweater....

it's a Billingham 445, heavy but love it so much~

Nicest looking non-black camera bag are Crumplers.

They're pricey, but still a bit cheaper than Lowepro. And looks better.
Crumpler sling bags use very wide straps, so they're comfortable even without shoulder pad.

Problem: they're very hard to get in Malaysia.
One Crumpler store in KLCC, but popular models are always out of stock. Especially the photobags.

If you want the laptop bags, Machines (mac shop) has some.

The Australian company wants to starve this region. Most stocks are sent to the West or to China.

I know a distributor, and am trying to get some stock from him. Ordered 13 bags, he can only deliver me 2 after 1mth.

Right now, I've got:
1x Khaki/green and 1x Black 5 Million Dollar Home.

Still deciding which to sell and which to use for myself biggrin.gif

If you're interested in a Crumpler, and can wait, I can help.

Just bought Fastpack 350. I know its very big but it suits with my needs when I want to travelling to other places for days and need to bring extra clothes and laptop. I had a thought to get Fastpack 250 or Kata 467 but I change my mind. Fastpack 250 is not big enough if I want to bring extra clothes. And Kata, I dont really like Kata's design. The zipper for the camera pocket is on the back which I dont like. Who knows someone trying to open the camera pocket when we're walking on the crowded.
Fastpack has better design, at least for me. The zipper for camera pocket is on the left side, so its easy to control and more secure.

If I just want to take pics around KL, usually I use my Tamrac shoulder bag (dont remember the series). It fits my 40D, 24-70, and 70-200. And doesnt look like a camera bag.

How big are the laptops? Anyways, look at Lowepro's for laptop + camera bags. KATA offers them too, but maximum laptop size is 13".

I'm looking for backpack with compartment laptop. Must be can fix laptop 17" with 1 body + battery grip, 3 lens and 1 speedlite. Perhaps in future can put lens 70-200mm. Looking at price below RM250. If we want to buy at Singapore, where mostly bag selling there very cheap and got tax if we bring bag to here?

Guys, buying from SG is sure hell alot cheaper. But it would be harder for you to warranty certain bags which offer 5 years or lifetime warranty.

If you need cheaper and good bags, I can get them for you. Check out my siggy for the KATA, Lowepro and Bagman threads.

Those are all from the official distributors which means that you would not have doubt on whether your product is original or not. wink.gif
