which team?
actually that was the design i had in mind. im sure that is the first thing that comes to mind if you were to design one. its also the first few things you learn in fluid mechanics anyways, and F1 engineers know that subject inside out.

on the bridgestone issue, having a dedicated team does make an advantage. on the surface, you could say that you can hire good engineers to study and confirm whatever the tyre manufacturers tell you. its not that simple, for one, team engineers can only study based on the technical details given to them, thus of course (to a certain extend) limit their analysis. it is still the tyre manufacturers that manufacture and develope the tyres.

actually that pit stop light thing ferrari has is not a new invention. there has been plans to use it, and will be used (i think) in the singaporean grand prix. ferrari did come up with some innovative things that you can boast about, but i guess this is not one of them.

why are they using it in that race? trying it out maybe? or maybe the press coverage?(look everyone talks about it here, good publicity)

this is from my shallow knowledge:

technically, red light means stop, but stop before the line, therefore lewis could stop anywhere before the line. he didnt cross the line when it was a red light, is he considered breaking the rules? i think not

rclxms.gif  next time when u see car infront of u while u are in the traffic light...  just slam into the front car.. or horn them let u pass..  u never break the rules..
the way people make statement are simply unbelievable... .. ..  or u really think wat u said is logic... doh.gif

yes its logically wrong, but technically(or legally) not wrong. therefore all im saying is, theres a chance as its put as just a racing incident or insufficient proof to punish lewis.
thank god u're not a lawyer.
