Press Conference

Love watching a good relationship between Kimi and Massa thumbup.gif

Kimi's 51st podium finishes...ties him with Mika Hakkinen in the Finnish hierarki.
Kimi's looking good in becoming the most successful Finnish driver of all time in Formula One in terms of podium finishes at least.
Love it or hate it...it's inevitable biggrin.gif

I tend to agree with DC on the current qualifying rules.
The current qualifying rules does not make sense.

Pole sitter should be the one who's fast with acceptional fuel loads.
Not those low fuel ones.
They got pole...but ended up losing the GP.

agree with you. the time frame in pitlane opening is a stupid FIA rules. doh.gif

again, massa start was moderate, by being in a clearly superior car, he still hold the advantage over alonso.
whatever happened to hammy and mclaren is like a 'mystery'.
they suddenly become uncompetitive  hmm.gif

with equal driver status, ferrari is become more interesting to watch  thumbup.gif
*
I think Ferrari drivers has mutual understanding.
Overtake only when one of them made a mistake, or during pit stop etc.
Up to them to pull a fast inlap etc.
Agressive manouver is a no no.

Ferrari's are always very good in launching the car during the start.
Some people don't realize that.

But Kimi did say that he had a bad start tongue.gif

Catalunya before 2006 or after?

That turn 9.
Either 1/2 the throttle on higher gear or flat out on lower gear.
Example: 3rd gear flat out...1/2 throttle on 4th gear.
If overdoing it...hello grass tongue.gif
With no TC, ease the throttle and get back to the track.
Otherwise, spunned...guaranteed tongue.gif

If you tried the old Catalunya circuit, that final corner...either flat out on lower gear or 1/2 throttle on higher gear.
Now...flat out completely.

SIM rocks thumbup.gif

Hey guys, each time a serious accident happens...does the FIA investigate the teams that were involved?
Like Kubica in Canada last year?
The team needs to submit their telemetry to be investigated by the FIA etc.?
And then tell the media?
Of it's the teams secret?

Recent Heikki's accident.
He had some memory loss sweat.gif

QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Apr 30 2008, 10:39 AM)
he's playing the same game as Alonso did last year in Monaco laugh.gif
but from the race alone you can see that he could've gone faster anytime.
*
If not for the safety cars (SC)...then can see how fast those Ferrari's were.

QUOTE(Darkmage12 @ Apr 30 2008, 12:16 PM)

In rFactor...some grass...old circuit.

Old circuit..I did 1:19:xxx (lucky laugh.gif )
Other pro SIMMERS did 1:17:XXX.
New circuit...haven't tried yet tongue.gif
Engine braking helps too tongue.gif

I hated corners where there's no braking sign tongue.gif
Don't know where to start braking laugh.gif

Crazy lah.
Those F1 drivers brakes before the '50 meter' sign.
Me...after '100 meter' or before '100 meter' sign...depends on the corner tongue.gif

Sorry for the off topic

Honda is a japanese team too...NOT....Its Nick Fry's team....

Nick probably have been singing the same tune to Honda's ear to let Aguri go coz of...wut else....to save money....

He said Honda need to just concentrate on one F1 team.
*
Yup. nod.gif

I was about to say that.

Now Nick can 'fry' all Honda's funds tongue.gif

Maybe a Japanese should lead a Japanese team...then can help each other.
