QUOTE(coolkwc @ Jun 18 2008, 12:47 PM) starting from the middle of the pack will be a disadvanatge. being held up by a slower car is one problem. his team will either go for very short pit stop or a single stop. the team strategy will play a major part; which they will decide after the qualifying round.if the likes of sutil in slower car is infront, they will go for a very short pit stop |

This should be an interesting race...see how many survive the first few corners without TC. I think it'll be quite difficult.

Looking back at the 2004 French GP, Michael Schumacher won the race in spite of four pit-stops. Michael is a incredible driver, super fast driver + good team strategy. but can Lewis & team make any miracle this weekend? dun hit other people, ok la..
trivia French GP: At 2005 French GP, Kimi Räikkönen received a 10 position grid penalty for an engine change on Friday. This year French GP, Lewis Hamilton received a 10 position grid penalty for .... well, u know why.. This post has been edited by iiam: Jun 19 2008, 03:05 PM |

QUOTE(iiam @ Jun 19 2008, 02:59 PM) trivia French GP: well, the reason is simple...the future world champion will received a 10 position grid penalty in french GP, it means Hamilton will grab the champion cup this years or next year, because he will a champion one day in future... At 2005 French GP, Kimi Räikkönen received a 10 position grid penalty for an engine change on Friday. QUOTE(yngwie @ Jun 19 2008, 02:10 PM) exactly! he maybe younger than coulthard but he just not talented enough to win it again. i think he can do well if he comes back to F1. he's been away for 2 years, isnt he? and the 2009 regs change , means that more overtaking - most of the aero parts will be gone - like honda's elephant ear wings. The rear diffuser will also be changed. so next year , F1 cars will rely heavily on mechanical grip.will he fare better than sutil , bourdais and those tailenders? i am intrigued that the FIA will introduce a new device next year - the lower part of the front wing can be adjusted by a button on the steering wheel. this will give the driver the chance to follow the car infront closely thru the corners. The use of this button will be limited - like the boost button on A1GP cars |
