oh sooou proud of your 2007 technology, leaked by yrself
not only removal, but development freeze for this season on the parts affected. handicap ? maybe. but well deserved. plus the lack of driver experience, contributed to the lack of pace. as it is clear now Alonso's 0.6sec claim is not totally bullshit. but most importantly mclaren is still here. still challenging, else it will look like a total domination. but it seems inevitable ferrari will dominate the rest of the season. im still hoping for the best, which is exciting races. we dont have analytical post conference nowadays cause there's nothing much happening during the race, especially at the top 3, so there's nothing much to ask and talk about. oh and most of the time kimi has nothing much to talk about
overtaking ..... wat a joke, the crashes that involves DC, if u observe properly, sometimes it's not entirely DC's fault. they just looked like kids crashing into each other ! |

pretty good race, with plenty of overtaking, finally.
heikki's tyre didnt ruined his day, you can say kimi ruined his day, or they both ruined their day for running too close to each other. anyway that's racing ! i think the damage on kimi's car is very minimal, might be those little flaps at the side of the front wing. engineers know the aerodynamic loads on the car, so they know whether it should be changed or not. and they know their maths. i doubt he would be able to post the fastest lap if the damage is significant. QUOTE(bearbear @ May 11 2008, 11:58 PM) Sometimes i feel this thead should hv being named to Ferrari thread instead, oh no, should be anti McLaren. bearbear, this is common everywhere, live with it. Couldnt accept the fact that hamilton, a rookie, is really this good i guess, just like alonso last season. This post has been edited by blah1134: May 12 2008, 12:43 AM |

QUOTE(Raikkonen @ May 13 2008, 12:28 AM) too cool too quiet too boring ... sometimes he's almost like heidfeld, if kimi is not in a ferrari or mclaren. nobody would notice that he's still in F1 damn i miss montoya, villeneuve, and the-winning-cock-talking-alonso...... QUOTE(Raikkonen @ May 13 2008, 05:02 PM) why isnt this a good thing ? first it means there will be some action2nd they might crash. win - win for both of us. gee jejes ....wtf are you 2 talking about ? if a tyre fails OF COURSE BLAME THE TYRE MANUFACTURER, unless it is caused by debris or wheel failure. When tyre manufacturer gave an advice, OF COURSE it has to be seriously considered, coz THEY MAKE THE TYRES. simple as that. man this kind of common sense is so hard to understand ? before 2007, most of the time bridgestone focus on ferrair, michelin have more teams to deal with. about the bridgestone-ferrari love relationship, well who knows they still continue it nowadays. but it's difficult to ignore that fact that it didnt about copypasta, i dont know how many of you watch ITV pre race coverage, sam micheal said something like... totally ignoring other's innovation is a waste. like ignoring results from about 10 or more wind tunnels. every teams look into other possibilities, tru R&D or with their eyes. you think ferrari didnt do that ? i doubt they never tested other team's innovations during R&D. why those things doesnt appear on their car ? coz F1 is not lego. QUOTE(jejes @ May 14 2008, 11:08 AM) is this common sense TYRE MANUFACTURER should spent money & times just to make the tyre to suite Lewis driving style? Guess what others driver will said. AHHAHAHaHAHhAHA THIS IS PATHETIC ! it's not about making tyres to suit drivers driving style !!! it's about improving/making more reliable tyres that could last longer over the course of a GP, take high loads over corners, while still maintaining high levels of grip. They do it everytime, it's their responsibility, coz in different conditions, like different combinations of car settings, track temperature, there is a possibility that the same problem might occur to other drivers.you talk about business, how does this sound to you "F1 driver named XXX dead in a crash due to bridgestone tyre failure" at every frontpage of the newspapers from around the world. PR stunt ? since your judgment is so clouded, i rest my case. |

there is a possibility of rain.
and there are drivers that kissed the barriers too hard during practice 1 so looking forward to a chaotic monaco GP, lets see who will win the safety car "lottery". |
