Hi, may I know who is in charge of organizing the gathering here?

I see, no host.

I would like to suggest a place for PSP gathering in July.
It is APIIT/UCTI @ TPM, Bukit Jalil. There is going to be
an event taking place in July and we plan to organize
a PSP gathering there.

Ermm. Definitely we will provide a comfortable room and power supply for everyone. Besides, I'm thinking of organizing a small PSP competition with little prize given to winner(s).

Event Name: ICCG 2008 - PSP Gathering
Date: 19 July 2008 (Saturday)
Time: 10am - 6pm
Venue: APIIT/UCTI @ TPM

Other side events:
1)Lucky Draw - You will stand a chance to walk home with either a PSP
or a DS!
2)DoTA & CS game competition (open for all colleges & universities students ONLY)
3)Board Game session
And many many more to come!!!

The transportation from Bukit Jalil LRT Station (STAR) to APIIT/UCTI @ TPM will be provided on an hourly basis(back and forth). As long as you guys can take the LRT and drop at Bukit Jalil Station, it will be alright.

If we could attract enough participants to this gathering then we can hold a mini competition. The entry is FREE. Prizes will not be confirmed yet. However, I'm thinking of giving out ONE 4/8gb memory card. Any good suggestion?

We will try requesting several game shops to sell game related items at a discounted prize just for that event(not confirmed).

I will update here as soon as I get all the things settled.

If there are more participant then the chance of getting
prizes is higher.
Is anyone interested in participating?

Erm...Perhaps offering PSP as a prize might be a bit hard for us to
get. July Gathering will be another casual PSP gathering. It is just that we want to make it a bit special therefore we plan to organize a mini competition.

Meeting up with everyone is the focus of that day gathering
We would really appreciate if somebody here can help organize it.

The PC Competition is open for all Uni & College student in Malaysia. So as long as you can find 4 other uni or college student to form a team, u can participate

There are a lot of other side events like board game, game talks blah blah blah.

As for the mini competition, I would like to seek for your advice since I'm new to this console. Any suggestion from you guys?

If you guys are coming over, there are several things happen besides the gathering & the E-Sport tournament (DoTA, CS, COD4 & FIFA) that is going on.

On that day, codemasters will bring over their 6 consoles to showcase the GRID. If you can complete the challenge, u will get an exclusive goodie bag. At the same time, they are also hiring programmer and artists for their next Project. If you love GRID, we have invited their GRID engine lead programmer, coming all the way from UK, to give a talk.

We also provide 10 differents board games for you guys to try out.

Game Monster will be organizing a Winning Eleven tournament on PS3 (this is open for anyone, not following ICCG E-Sport Rules) , and at the same time there will be 2 PS3 ready for you to try out Winning Elevent.

We also invite 3 others local game developer to give talk on game related issues.

Moreover, there will be a lucky draw event at the end of the event. So u might be able to walk away with PSP & DS!

A lot of things are happening on that day, we hope to see you guys there.
