Hi
I am looking for housing loan agent because I want to look for another bank to refinance my house. Currently I have a loan with Stanchart and after 5 years, I can look for other bank to refinance my house without any penalty. The 5 year term will end on February 2009, so I am shopping for a suitable bank with lower interest rates.

Are you sure that the term will end on February 2009.
You'll have to calculate 5 years from the final draw down date; better get confirmation from the bank regarding this.
Anyway, by than the rates would be different so why the urgency now?

Anything can happen by then and rates keeps changing. It is advisable that you start hunting for rates during Nov or Dec 2008. |
