QUOTE(dlorehk @ Jan 16 2009, 03:52 PM) yeah bcoz of that review i bought rebel in the 1st place over the neo. but after 3 weeks using it damn i hate it so much hehe. up to u bro just want to share my xp if u got a chance buy the incase slider go ahead but don't buy the 'matte' lot of bad review. i'm searching the metal gun one where to get hah? i see. i've got a good offer for my Colors & feel like upgrading but not sure which one. InCase is my favourite but it doesn't have protection for the earphone & port. Neo is second on my list now after what you've said. what's the problem with Rebel anyway?there's a seller selling 2 units of InCase Slider from US but it's way off my budget. http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=907506&hl= |

QUOTE(keithchen @ Jan 17 2009, 03:49 PM) Do u guys know where i can get rebel serpent other thn online...it looks hawt man! think it will be launched locally in couple of months time since it's already available in the States. hold your purchases now if you feel like waiting, get a cheap RM10 silicone case or pouch first. http://www.switcheasy.com/products/RebelSe...ebelSerpent.php btw, haven't got a protection for your iPhone yet bro? |

QUOTE(keithchen @ Jan 17 2009, 03:59 PM) Haha ohh really? where you got it from? our fellow forummers? heard some personal reviews from Rebel users that the bottom part tends to sag after some time of usage so i'm still undecided. might go for Capsule Neo pula. hehe. but i really like InCase Slider la, especially thw white one. but no one selling in Garage Sales. lazy go out to shop. Bought a SE Colors how bout you no rebel yet? |

QUOTE(ujoewong @ Jan 20 2009, 11:28 AM) @atomica Moshi iPouch is kinda expensive for a cloth pouch right? Get Moshi iPouch.. Very good in cleaning finger prints.. Can use it as a microfiber cloth also... or if got money then get iKlear at Machines.. To those people who have the sagging issue of the capsule Rebel.. This gotta do with the colours.. I used White,Devil,Tiger and Arctic before.. My black and Arctic sag like hell.. But my white and tiger is in perfect condition.. in my opinion the white and tiger's material of the rubber is harder then the black and arctic.. stay away from the arctic and clear.. If you want to see case review.. go check out YouTube's ( itsmemorphious) guy.. He do very good case reviews... I got all my case information from there.. moreover his vids are enjoyable.. seems like Rebel have sagging issues with specific colours only? yeah. itsmemorphious did really good reviews on most of the cases. got my Colors after watching his review. i might be getting the Griffin Clarifi after CNY from the States since it's much cheaper over there (slightly over RM100). not like RM179 in our local Mac stores. |

QUOTE(ujoewong @ Jan 20 2009, 03:34 PM) Ya expensive but worth it.. I use it to clean my LCD screen also.. One swipe only no more dust.. That youtube guy do reviews for almost every case you can get in the market.. I own the Moshi Concerti as well.. He reviewed it but he got a faulty one instead.. You watch his reviews on the Rebels and see.. His latest wan for the Rebel Serpent.. The black rubber smudge inwards wan... Griffin Clarifi is a very solid and nice case.. I used it as well.. but the shiny plastic back just scratches too easily.. you will know when u get one.. its kinda like an incase slider la.. Whoa lucky you la.. I got it at RM179.. from machines.. means the Rebel Serpent is not an improvement over the Rebel? still got sagging issue? top of my list now would be Incase Slider and Grffin Clarifi. but Incase is kinda overpriced to me. so in the end i chose Clarifi for the macro lens. bought the Clarifi on Amazon and asked a seller to ship it back to Malaysia. so it's cheaper. btw, does those hard cases like Clarifi attracts dusts often? |

QUOTE(ujoewong @ Jan 20 2009, 04:29 PM) Nope they just change the spine texture only while use back the rubber for the rebel.. but local cant get Incase stuff.. Griffin Clarifi does not attract dust or lint but u have to be more cautious because griffin left the top and bottom expose more.. I haven tried SwitchEasy Colors before.. I think its just a silicon skin? I have to dig for the phone if i'm using that.. aisk.. My combo now is using the Griffin Clarifi + Moshi iPouch.. so dust does not go in to the case while it clean my iphone screen from finger prints.. btw, with all the ang pao money from CNY.. care to purchase a VaJa?? VaJa? think that's too premium for me dy la. if i'm working dy then might consider that. @CooLeRthings I have SwitchEasy Neo White also.. yea it does give you the best protection that you need from dust and shock protection.. but it kills me cuz the I- frame gets dirty super fast for the white wan.. It seems SwitchEasy did a revision on the NEO.. The paper-like silicon skin is now form fitted to the iphone and the I-frame is now more resistance to dirtyness.. But the problem is how can we identify which is V1 and V2.. wow. double protection Clarifi & Moshi? you must took care of your baby a lot. haha. yeah. Colors is just a silicone skin but it offers quite good protection actually. the only parts exposed is the silent button and camera hole. it's a good & affordable case just that it attracts dusts and lints easily. *sigh* i think if when i get my Clarifi i will use the rubber earphone & port protector from my Colors. so the only part left exposed will be the silent & volume buttons at the side. |

QUOTE(ujoewong @ Jan 20 2009, 05:35 PM) Yalar that's actually what i thought too. BodyGuardz or IS, but i'm afraid i gonna mess up the whole application process. couldn't find someone to do it in GS also. cuz sometimes i prefer to use it in naked but scare will scratch it.. So alternate days Naked iPhone 3G with BodyguardZ + Moshi iPouch or Naked iPhone 3G with BodyguardZ + Moshi Concerti for formal.. Presentation time can show off the app called "air mouse" for powerpoint presentation also.. hahaha... Aisk.. I confirm OCD for protecting my iPhone already la... seriously iPhone looks best naked. too bad the back part is prone to scratches. mine black somemore. lagi obvious if scratch. BodyGuardz/IS with stylish cloth pouch like Moshi is the best combination. |

QUOTE(atomica @ Jan 21 2009, 09:40 AM) wow. that's really cool. too bad no one selling it in the garage section. which local shop did you see it? and which site you planning to order from? thanks. it's selling for RM179 at Machines. getting it directly from the States will be cheaper. that's what i'm planning to do. it's around RM110 after conversion & shipping. |

anyone had the Rebel Serpent already? read reviews over the net and YouTube and it seems like it still have the saggy bottom issue, but not for all the users though.
