You need to go to other sites to get news other than patch notes. WoW Forums would be a start.

Nope. Haven't had time to cover Jom WoW. It's more of a place where I put up information stickies that are more for gameplay. And when I said WoW Forums, I meant the WoW Official Forums. Starting spots are the General, Technical and Bug reports. Anyway, to answer your question, yes the servers were laggy everywhere. Then restarts happen. Then laggy. Welcome to patch day, presumably your first one? It will be like this for a week, maybe 2-3 weeks while the addons are sorted out. Where do I get info from? A lot of reading and also guildies who also update the guild with news. |

So? You don't need a news flash to say when server is laggy. You'd get that from guildies or in the General/Trade chats.
