They are pretty similar in price. All my sons wants is a music player which can play some video as well.

Which one will you pick? Any help is appreciated.

maybe u can let him choose the mp3 player..
but i think i would go for ipod nano

iRiver clix2 has a superior DAC compared to the nano thus it has wonderful sound quality, but data transfer is a little more cumbersome compared to nano, no biggie tho.

i never tried the e100 so i can't say

i would go for the clix2..
sounds much better imho.

how about get your son a ZUNE 30gb from bulk section?
sound is good quality while playing video is very smooth
it's price around RM 600++ from bulk
how much is clix2?

kids mostly can't measure sound & visual quality like adult, if he below 10, a generic mp4 player will do. But if he does know a matter of a/v quality, pick any brand around your budget

Get a nano. Your son will thank you and tell everybody that he has the coolest father

either ipod nano or Zune for fashion and trend... ^__^ but if he prefer space then take Zune coz it's 30 GB while nano only has 4GB and 8GB memory space.

my son is 21 and he has most of music collection in CD.
iPod nano is very popular but we don't use iTuner.
I read some reviews of the Clix2 and E100, both of them seem ok. It's why i want to give them a try.
