I did it myself. I quarter modded the earpads, poked some holes at the felt covering the back of the driver(gave it more bass punch and texture), and now I'm thinking of removing the rear grille and swap it for something with a better airflow(I found a metal mesh/grille from an automotive air filter  ). I'm thinking of upgrading the cables to silver ones, next year, and asking someone to do it.

well u can try fiio E5 or E6 or hippo box (im not familiar with this so u need to search more regarding this amp) which is affordable and it is used to boost bass . but if u are happy what u hearing i suggest a minor tweaking on the EQ should be ok...

After reading some reviews, kinda interested with the Fiio E11 & hippo box+. Wondering which is a better amp to pair with the SR125. I'll be looking for amp (if necessary) after new year when i'm home so for now just enjoy it as is.

try with tube amp. it adds some warmness to it. for me i use maverick D1 amp+DAC with Vintage GE tube. sound so much more lush and vocals are simply great..

ive tried the woody mod... got nice timbre sound and a bit more bass(?) but not my thing thou... alu mod never tried yet.... supposed to be brighter and sparkier than usual... but thats my theory only...
