I just bought Grado sr80 recently (3 weeks ago I think) at music by design, the price is RM435 and I got discount so it became RM 390. Previously I had sennheiser px100, when I compared with Grado, definetly this Grado is rocking on treble, details, and clarity (after burn in) but.......but....... I'm a bit dissapointed on the low level frequency, yes the bass compared to px100.......sennheiser is the winner here. Anyway i'm really happy with my Grado clarity and sound, and I'm going to get AKG K 414 P soon to satisfied my desire for the low frequency as I checked that this AKG gives a really really deep and bumy bass, but for overall sound Grado is the winner.

outdoorxplorer thx for fast response, do you have any tips and trick to boost this low freq ? and about the recabling, can you give me more details on that ? thanks anyway for your help
