guys, i'm planning get either SR60 or SR80 to pair with my BoA. which do you think would be better? in terms of bass and soundstage? how are these both cans compared to MS1?

If you're looking for soundstage, the Grado signature has a really narrow one though.
MS-1 is commonly said to be a revamped SR80, though I have yet to test them both side by side to be able to agree with such a statement.

any1 here know how to mod grado sr80 to circumaural ... ?? and sigle sided cable ??
like this ..

not comfortable enough with long term use of my grado sr80i .. with over ear cap .. any1 pls help me willing to pay ..

The "circumaural" part is easy.. The picture shows the headphones with bowl pads. Technically it's still not circumaural though, since you'll be using the bowl pads which lies on your ears still, pretty much still supraaural. The G-Cush pads should bring it closer to circumaural than the bowl pads, but they're tremendously expensive in relative to your headphones (RM120 from Jaben).

The mod itself, you'd need to find a willing forummer to do it, and I reckon it'd cost quite abit too... So overall the mod may easily reach the price of your SR80 itself. If you really can't stand it, why don't you purchase another pair of headphones instead?

sry .. i tot the earcap in pic same size with gs1k circumaural ...

No worries, might just be me seeing the pics wrongly. If you want circumaural, the G-Cush pads which yes, you're right, same sized as the GS1K ones, are the correct pads to go for. smile.gif

so if i mode my sr80i to circumaural with sigle sided cable would cost ..me another grado sr80i ??

what if i just mod it to these bowl cap with single sided cable .. how much could it be ?? are these bowl cap much comfortable than original sr80i overear earcap
*
What I meant was the total cost for modifying your SR80i into single entry cable + G-Cush pads MAY cost you nearly the same price as how much you've paid for your SR80i in the first place. MAY. laugh.gif Well, it's just an estimate which you may prepare first to be safe, since I can't say for sure the prices our local modders will charge.

That's why I've mentioned why not just look for another pair of headphones which you may find to be more comfortable.
