I am a MS-1 owner for a good 3 years now, was saving toward a pair of MS-2i (prefer Alessandro smoother sound) but got the SR325i goldies instead. Well, it is free so I can't complain (won the logo design contest for Ken@ALO new retail shop, the 32 OHM Audio).

Anyway, SR325i does pair extremely well with tube amp. Not really about the need of power but they have great synergy together.

the sr325i comes with alu sound chamber right? im not sure what is the difference between plastic, wood n aluminum.. though im getting an alu chamber done by the end of the month if i got the time of course..

Yes it has an aluminum housing. Personally I don't think that is the major contributor of the final sound. I could be wrong on this but I am not going to prove or disprove myself. I am happy as it is cool.gif

Hi, how is the bass between MS-1 vs SR325i? Which one is more powerful and louder?

Bass is excellent on SR325i. Not really a lot in quantity but still quite good as an open-back headphone. In comparison, MS-1 has less bass in both quantity and quality.
