hmm.. that's a thought... but i doubt that it can be accomplished.. i think the truck mold requires the endoskeleton to keep it in place... hehehe... but that's a great idea... two poses... nice thumbup.gif
*
this is because i realized 1 thing...
compare to gundam which the armor plating needs both side to fully cover the skeleton, the TS OP requires only 1 the outer part of the skeleton to be placed at..
it true that the skeleton will make the outer shell more stabil in alternate mode, but, like other TF, it has its locking mechanism to make it more stabil in alternate and robot mode...
its just a thought only..

yea.. now that u mentioned it.. there is a lock to keep the places shut... hahaha.. u could be right there.. plus the truck mold, paint is very nice... looks a lot better than the rest man..
*
the thing is, the comparison pics doesnt do much justice coz TS OP was compared to Robo OP which the colors are lighter...
so, it does make TS OP look darn good, but if it was me, i'll put all TFTM OP on the table for comparison...
TS OP, Hasbro / Taktom Voy OP, Robo OP, Hasbro / Taktom L OP and Premium OP...
if just based on chromed parts, TS OP is the winner, no doubt...

@J-Slade
few methods to tighten up some loose ball joints...
super glue
-put a layer of super glue in the cup joint where the ball joint goes in.
-wait until dry then only u insert the ball joint..
same method goes to nail polisher...

the other one if dont wanna leave a mess, use blue tack instead...
same method with super glue and nail polisher...

Thanks duke_hunt bro. I'm gonna give it a try when it gets worse. For now gonna leave it be 1st cos kinda afraid I screw up..  sweat.gif
*
if u really wanna try, i suggest blue tack coz its like plasticine...
if its too much, u can take it out, put back in small amount...
so, no messed up job and u can take em out anytime u want...
u can always revert back if u screw up using blue tack..
super glue and nail polish will give u nitemare if u screw up...
worst comes to worst, leave it in alternate mode, no repair job needed...
hehehe..
anyway, gd luck...

erm..actually how to take out the ball joint from the parts? unsure.gif
*
most deluxe class, the torso contains the cup joint while the arm, legs and hips have the ball joint molded together...
try to find kamkam's pics where his classic mirage was separated into 2...
u can c the ball joint connected to the hip...
as for BB08, the arm and the legs are the most prominent part..
if its loose, u can easily pull em out, if it still tight, no need la..
remind me tonight, i need to repair my BB08, longgar de..
i'll show u the pics...

cooooool thumbup.gif  rclxms.gif that helps a lot, now i know which part u mean
how bout the arm part?
*
same as the leg part...
just cabut but i didnt cabut mine coz the arms are still tight..
dont fix if it aint broken...

J-Slade.
my recommendations, leave it as it is with the paint chip...
if wanna repaint, the best way is to repaint fully..
and the best way to repaint is by using air brush...
paint recommendation, Gunze Sangyo Mr. Color which is acrylic base..
but, banyak kerja la unless u know how to AB lar...
those custom repaint, especially on the inner frame, that 1 using Tamiya Enamel paint...
too long to explain...

Thanks Bro!
Icic.. don't think ler... get it! Is worth it.  thumbup.gif
Hi duke, got it for RM135. I use the endoskeleton to join together. However i haven't tried without it. The skeleton is the backbone for the truck. If without it probably it will be real filmsy in truck mode. Maybe it a try later. Wonder how many hour it gonna take me. haha.. me very slow when come to doing transforming. sweat.gif
Thanks bro. Quickly go get yours!  rclxms.gif
*
nice price indeed, cant say much coz its TakTom...
i never doubt it can be that easy to transform...
i may or may not get em coz its not in my OP collection to get list but i might consider lar but not anytime soon...
still wondering whether we will be able to c it on retail shelves as its from TakTom, there r other toys from TakTom, but for TF, its kinda rare to c em on retail shelves as major departmental store's contract are with Hasbro though both Hasbro and TakTom are under one roof...
