OK, I need some clarification cos what I understand is very different.

I have a Maybank trading account and the remiser told me for me to buy any share I need to have about half of the cash in the account.  For example, 10lots of Counter A cost RM5,000 then I need to put in about RM2,500 before I can buy.  Of course during the T3+1 I don't have to cough up the remaining RM2,500.  So the question is do I need to put in RM54K (or RM27K) for alivecmh's earlier transaction?  Put aside all potential loses, gains, processing fees, just simple calculation.

also eyeing that, but the last 2 quarters profit has been decreasing, wonder how is next quarter. Also thinking whether this dividend can maintain, otherwise might suffer capital loss. My friend been keeping this for 5 years. Bought so cheap last time.

For me it's just simple strategy, buy and keep as long as it does not drop more than 10% - sometimes can be lenient to allow 20%.  Basically transfering my FD to this counter.

I checked that the conversion ration of 1 sime-cb share to 1 sime share is 10 to 1. Meaning you can get 1 sime lot for every 10 sime-cb lot that you have after the exercise date if you choose not to exercise? Can this be right? It wouldn't make sense money wise because 1 sime-cb lot is more or less RM3 now and multiplying that by 10 makes it RM 30 but to buy 1 sime lot is more or less RM 9 x 100 = RM900. What am I getting wrong...pls advise
