yes... poor man's lens... coz the tamron's macro only works when it's 180mm.

This is actually my first time using the macro feature.. LoL...

Tamron SP90 will get wet, but not the other siggy macro lens. The siggy macro lens, still can get 1:1 at some distance, which was told by radical himselves.. biggrin.gif

I need a remote cord... sometimes i dun get clear shots because of the shake i cause to the cam while pressing the shutter. ><

maybe u can try using Self-Timer, just the problem is to get the correct timing to drop water. something sometime the shake is also cause by the mirror flip.

self timer cannot.... tried... to hard to for timing.. the water drop is done by my gf's finger.. not from a machine or something...

controlling the shutter manually is better.. i can easily do the timing for it.. the hardest part is the droplet's positioning.. >< and the pre focus... i dunno la.. maybe it's the lense... it's strange for aperture f11 and taken with f13 everything should be crispy clear... but some of my pics.. only the droplets are clear.. the bottom is not that clear...

I tested shooting my gf's finger with the same settings... it's damn clear... Strange huh?

coz it's too close.. 50mm with +4 filter maximum can go around 15-25cm away only...
