Day 1: Well, I have nothing to do and very bored at home, so I decided to mod me mouse and took all the pictures for fun. Now, to post them and show off my work Tools required for serious action: One old mouse, operated and ready to go: Sizzarga: Carbon Fibre Sticker, Water, Julie's Cookies: Puncher?: Other stuffs: Knife for removing mouse feets and screw driver for screwing the mouse. Carbon Fibre sticker review: This roll of carbon fibre sticker, hence forth shall be known as CF, is bought from rezzz bulk at RM20 per metre... Good stuff, I'd say a 9/10: Nice texture; shiny, easy to stick, water proof, definately tough and strong. BUT after sticking, when I try to remove it, it leaves glue residue on the surface. Oh well... This post has been edited by ff7yta: Mar 24 2008, 03:16 PM

Ran out of pictures already... QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Mar 24 2008, 03:34 PM) seriously quite nice leh... the film flexible enough to handle curves? Nah, the film quite keras and stiff for 0.4mm in thickness. So I use a flame thrower and a knife to compensate for the curves, cutting out the air bubbles... Added on March 24, 2008, 3:42 pmContinued: Right side for more CF ing: Now to mod the mouse feet This is where the puncher comes in! But due to the high quality of the CF, damn the puncher cant pierce the sticker This post has been edited by ff7yta: Mar 24 2008, 03:42 PM

So had another cookie break and came back with an idea. Since the CF is good at stretching, so I put it on some paper to increase its hardness and use the puncher again: walla, it works! After adding the CF to the mouse feets: And a piece of CF to the front to cover the lost of paint: DONE! This post has been edited by ff7yta: Mar 24 2008, 03:48 PM

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Mar 24 2008, 03:48 PM) Errr.. this part I dun paham. Why you wanna carbon fibre the feets? Won't it be better to just teflon it? For fun of course... Performance wise, i mean in terms of smoothness, the teflon is better... Will do the back part next time when I get bored again... This post has been edited by ff7yta: Mar 24 2008, 03:52 PM

Approximately 3 months later, bottom side of mouse. As you can see that the CF sticker on the mouse has wared off at the right mouse button area. This is a result from, dota, warcraft 3, gta san andreas and some other games... This post has been edited by ff7yta: Jun 12 2008, 11:32 PM
