unless u going to do drag race, for sure can see the differences... but normal driving not difference much gua...
20kg fuel momentum is nothing much if compare with 1000kg car chassis momentum...

actually FC will effect by where we driving... the reason why city driving always higher FC than higway... need pickup and brake...
another example about airplane, can feel the momentun while lifting from land into sky, because the engine pushing...
once reached sky and maintain speed in the speed, actually the momentun is 0... while plane try to land, the momentun happened is to brake the plane... although the plane is very heavy at high speed, but still can feel 0 momentun at the sky...
or take F1 racing as example if u notice there have G-force indicator... while high speed straight line, almost 0 G-force... the maximum G-force only occured will braking or accelerate or cornering...

Perodua remains the top car seller

PETALING JAYA: Perodua maintained its position as the top selling car in the country with 11,888 units registered in February.

According to the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), Proton - which was second with 10,684 units sold last month - was fast catching up

When compared with January, Proton car sales showed a decline of only 1.17%, while Perodua's decline was sharper at 23%, according to the data.

A MAA report on Wednesday showed that total car sales were 29,909 in February, down from 36,332 units in January due to the shorter working month. Total industry volume, including heavy vehicles and vans, was 38,587 units in February, down from 45,828 units in January.

MAA president Datuk Aishah Ahmad said it did not have any plans to revise the sales forecast for 2008, following a lower economic growth outlook for this year.

"It's a little too soon for us. But we will do it at end of June, or early July. For now, we will maintain our forecast numbers. We think the 510,000 units forecast are good numbers," she said after the MAA AGM yesterday.

Bank Negara had forecast gross domestic product growth of 5% to 6% this year, down from the 6.3% achieved last year.

On whether carmakers would put new car launches on hold in light of the economic uncertainty, Aishah said she expected launches would continue as planned. "I do not think there would be any impact," she added.

Asked if there would be a fuel price increase and whether there would be an impact on sales, she said: "The impact may not be in total industry volume but may be in terms of segmentation. People may downsize. They may not buy the heavy fuel-consumption vehicle but they may switch to smaller cars. If there is no (oil price) increase, the segmentation may still remain."

On what were the industry's other challenges, she said even though fuel prices were not expected to increase in the short term, the MAA was not sure if the Government would continue to hold back in the long term.

"But the main issue is that the prices of most goods have already gone up and cost of doing business has already increased," she said.

Bro, Yup......Gab is a big no no especially their Adjustable and lower spring......but the GAB sport absorber (SA model) is not bad. Many of my friend using it for more than a year also no problem. Anyway, GAB have 1 year warranty mah........For myvi, eibach Only come out lower spring only.

For Myvi ORIGINAL shock absorbers, for sure that GAB is a "big no no" brand. IT's simply because the original absorbers can't take that level of lowering. It's just fine on many other models.

As for the GAB Adjustable, the problem is also SPECIFICALLY for Myvi only. That's because the car is a bit too light at the back and the lowest spring rate is still a bit too stiff for it.
