QUOTE(sleepy @ Sep 10 2008, 01:05 PM) I dont know why you guys are so worked up over this. Isnt it well-known that FIA is ferrari's guardian angel? I stopped watching F1 since last year because of all the FIArari-favoring fiasco, but came to know about this incident when I heard it on the radio in monday morning. If race stewards give the driver who cutting chicane chance then the rest of drivers will follow suit. It is a metter of rules & principles. Hammy thought he was smart but the stewards out smart him. I've viewed some replays on youtube, and I can say that the "Lewis-gained-more-momentum-by-cutting-chicane" is total BS. Yeah, he did gain on Kimi coming out the chicane, but he LIFTED. Even the speedtrap at the S/F line shows Hamilton is 6-7kmh slower. If there's any advantages gained earlier, its already been nullified the moment he lifted. Is FIA trying to tell me that by being 6kmh slower, Hamilton's car still has more momentum when both cars are of the same weight? Do you think if Hammy lifted and braked at the chicane, he could be that close behind Kimi at start-finish line? |

By the time the conventional top teams fitted with controversial diffuser, the playing ground will go back to them again. Let's see in 3 race time.

Vettel is handicaped by the 10 grip penalty in Sepang. Hope he could upset the diffuser 3.
