find some similarity in interest between u both.. for example if she likes to do certain stuffs.. or there's a new restaurant around the corner she wanted to try.. then u can ask her out for those .. it's better than blindly asking her out not knowing where to go nor what to do..some how i feel when i say wanna go for a date i get loled at...coz i joke around quite alot when i ask some girls wanna go for a date they think im just fooling around T__T"
