UKM was setup with the main intention of using BM as its main teaching language. This was back when UM was still using English and UPM did not yet exist in its current form.

I was told by friends in UKM and UPM few years back that they had to do double work - submit same assignment/report in both BM and BI.
BM for lecturer to mark (cos their BI not too good) and BI for record keeping. Which is plain dumb if you ask me. |
