TS, please leave Adrien Brody out. He just recently starred in King Kong. And, afterall, he's got the most prominent nose in hollywood, who would forget him.

Stardust . . . What can we say, it's Daft Punk.

Damn it man their only single release was a bloody hit and they didn't want to make anymore collaborations.

for movie stars, two that i can think of:

1. mark hamill - after star wars, which is arguably the biggest pop culture phenomenon in the world, ive never seen him in any major followup blockbuster since. now does voice work, does this still count?

2. roberto benigni - after life is beautiful, the guy starred in the awful live action pinochio, and has now faded into obscurity.

I remember there were hell loads of boybands from uk & us back in the late 90's coming here holding mini concerts and then fade into obscurity...some are one hit wonders,,while some aren't but others sure are forgettable.
Lets see how many of them you can remember.

I'm trying to compile a list of celebrities (singer, actor, actress, director, etc) that got famous for one or two masterpiece and then goes missing, nobody knows what happened and they just drop off the radar.

ex:

Tattoo <-- russian singer dual that was famous for their hit song "All the Things She Said".

or

Venga boyz <-- hahahahah, ibiza. lulz.

or

Adrien Brody <-- leading actor of "The pianist".
You peeps got anything to constribute?
*
Adrien Brody - back with a vengeance in KING KONG and Hollywoodland hohohoho

Venga boyz - one album several hits
Tattoo - simply dun care

there are many other one hit wonders out there - countless

Wow... are they really that obscure that you got the name wrong? tongue.gif JOkinG rclxm9.gif

The Calling was quite a hit back in my secondary school days, but yeah... they did die out quite quickly after their second single "Adrienne" which I thought was a better song that the mushy "Wherever You Will Go".

Did THAT many boybands drop by Msia and held concerts? I must say I haven't heard most of them apart from the more famous ones.

Evan and Jaron... oh yeah... truly one hit wonder with "Crazy for This Girl". But "The Distance" was quite good too although that song didn't get much airtime. Kinda wasted though... their voices would have suited a rock band.

Nice songs though.

Maybe we should have a thread for "famous" bands in the late 90s and early 2000s which everyone thought could have made it big yet flunked.
