My thread info and successful list..can refer to this.. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/603737Thanks" This post has been edited by hspace: Mar 21 2008, 11:20 AM

if you have been active in similar sales thread before, stating your intention of buying similar products, then the guy who sends u PM might just be trying his luck.

I got a feeling she mass PM'ed everyone in another thread that was selling the exact same item though, ahahaha. It's like a secret hijack of the other seller's buyers, ahahahaha.
If it's not against the forum policy, then I suppose she's not doing anything wrong. If it is, then it's setting an annoying precedent of getting lots of unwanted PM's from over eager sellers. What do the mods think?

if you participated on some related thread like say you expressed interest in buying Product A from Mr 123. and the fella approach you, i think it's alright lor.
it's still business.
on the other hand if out of the blue suddenly you get this "AD" for this product which has no relevance to your interest blablabla........ then yes, spam.
even the way the PM was written could tell you whether it's a genuine seller or spammer.

This is business, as long he/she doesn't hijack the person's selling thread, I feel it is alright. It is up to the customers whom to choose to deal with. Like what goldfries said, unless you are getting PM that has no relevance to your interest, then it is spam. This post has been edited by fruitie: Mar 21 2008, 01:01 PM
