Actually, you cant compare this with GT5.. it is a racing game, yeah, but its not actually a Sim.

OKAY!! REVIEW TIME!!

i jz woke up and see that it was downloaded completely...so i installed...

Here is the summary of my own experience.

1) Menu Interface is like DiRT but improvised version with nice lighting makes it look 'alive'.

2) Choice of cars ( Limited lah...demo only mar)

3) Race experience :-

a) Graphic? 5/10 ..dont be fooled by screenshots really. If GT5 is 10/10, thi s is halves. The graphic engine is almost as EXACTLY like DiRT (I know what im talking about, i owned DiRT)

b) Race experience? 4/10 - Oh well, I never played TOCA games but if this is how TOCA is like, I never will try LoL.go cockpit view and check cornering, ull be amazed of how muscular the driver is, wheeling steering like cartoons.

c) Game Physic? You rate yourself. Its another Juiced game to me IMHO.

d) Multiplayer functionality? Not tested.

My conclusion here is <Boom no buy> [quoted from clngu] hahaha

Something they brought back together from DiRT which I hate most --> THE CARS FLOAT!!! feel like driving motorboat, exactly like how Axis magazine describe Dirt game

If you ever wana spend on money buying this, try DiRT first, if u like DiRT on the street than just dirt, then its worth your money .

Just my opinion btw, no pun intended tq~

How does the physics felt like? I've never downloaded the Juiced demo before so i don't know how it feels like. Does it feel like Prostreet?

I'll download this demo when i get home.

I always had a soft spot for TOCA smile.gif because they offer cars that other console game dont offer like DTM, V6

Although i am a GT fan boy (cant you tell? tongue.gif ), remember that GT physics is not perfect either. Yamauchi-san did say that he had to tone down GT physics so that the game would sell

i read that, but, he toned down in GT1 and GT2 to sell to Americans. Apparently, Americans are still playing Mario Karts, NFS... etc.

Forgot where i read that.

GT3 onwards, everything is as it's supposed to be.

if i remember correcly.

u guys download and try it urselves... and pls comment here, i wana know if our thoughts are alike..

DiRT i got abit mm song also... coz i bought the game but no one ever talked abt it here... very silent.. shitty multiplayer functionality maybe one of the reason...

i overrate Grid coz i tot they wana come up with something better...

didnt support 1080p also.. its 720p.. when i see screenshot...and compare to the ingame graphics.. i was like "eh.. is this for real"

p/s : there are 3 game modes from the demo, i tried the 1st one, the 1 driving BMW.. sorry but i didnt tried the other 2..coz honestly the 1st one sudah make me "aih..jz another DiRT...on tarmac" so i dowan try the rest >.<

LOL, GT fans hijacking TOCA thread.

OT : The physics of GT of American and Japanese are the same. the difference of Japanese license trial time limit is much shorter than the American GT game.

are you on drugs or what..the gameplay is not exactly like GT5P, the graphics are not even on par with GT5P it look nice only....so far for me there are no any racing sim games that can match GT5P graphics yet...not even Forza2....

haha bangToT da bising

i damn kecewa la man... tgk ninja post screenies aku teruja amat...tibe2 gini.. baik tulis DiRT 2 <Cleaner version> ke ape ke..since lumpur nye da x ada >.<...

damage-modelling dia...cam sama ngan DiRT and NFS Prostreet je i tengok

p/s : cockpit view dia tul2 funny... x ada delay langsung tangan turning racing wheel...exactly ikut our control lol...GT5p at least ada delay abit n look smoother, changing gear pon at least ada 'gear-shift predictor defined'

semi-sims tu i can agree la, maybe in fullgame got full customize function?

but being called a sim racing is totally wrong IMO...

i jz think this is a semi-sim coz JUICED and NFS is arcade-racing..thats all

Added on May 9, 2008, 6:45 pmLOL Another words of condemn by me again!

Out of my ignorance, i strengthen myself to go play GRID again, this time, Drift demo...

Default car is Nissan Silvia S15 (woot my favourite real life car somore)

Okay..so here goes.. i think i can summarize the outcome in just 1 short sentence.

Game loaded...

READY POSITION...

<Press handbrake to initiate a drift>

... need I say more?

HAHAA!
