AllnGap's Ram Cooler are better off in performance than OCZ XTC or Corsair Dominators
aesthetically its not as appealing as the other two....but far better in performance

but if u like, ive seen several mods done to the XTC and Dominators by changing their fan
you will need to know how to connect the 3fans together under 1 molex though

and even the dominator is actually not that bad if u peel off the sticker
its a actually a black alu finish

Need to ask something here guys, recently purchase a few piece of Value Rams and had been thinking about installing a ram heatspreader on it. But i am worried, it will void the warranty. Will it void the warranty and is it possible in the future if i wanted to warranty, to peel off the heatspreader without damaging the sticker on the chipset?

what kind of heat spreader that's in your mind?

if you are looking for those like the TR HR07 kind of heat spreader,
then the thermal adhesive tape that bundle with it is very easy to remove. No need extra force and cleaning agent, just purely peel it off.
it's like those used in Mosfet heatsink adhesive tape, kind of like ...
so no worry about that.

what you should be worry is the warranty sticker that attach to the chiset of the ram. They tend to get 'hancur' if wanted to peel it off

Patriot Vortex RAM Cooler

though the fan is small, its pretty powerful.

Silicon|FX
This active cooler has a big turndown.
In order to use it, you'll have to sacrifice 1 ram slot.

If your system is based on 4 ram slots, you can only use 3 slot, sacrificing the ability of using 4 sticks in Dual Channel.
If your system is based on 6 ram slots, you can only use 5 slot, sacrificing the ability of using 6 sticks in Triple Channel.

PS: Thread Updated.

AllnGap seem like super busy, ask several times still haven't reply me abt his Ram Cooler. sad.gif

I am having the issue that Processor heatsink Fan that cover the 1st ram slot, beside change to smaller heatsink fan, I am looking for a ram cooler which have position adjustability that similiar to OCZ XTC memory cooler (move left / move right) & visibility of RAM activity L.E.D, instead no choosing the OCZ because the actual size is too big to fit the remained space.

Now running the Crucial Ballistix Tracer under hot condition is worrying its lifespan.

A few Q's:
1. The warranty sticker on the RAM chip has any impact on RAM cooling or not? Like making hot spot underneath?
2. I would like to install the heat spreader on my VLP Kingston ValueRAM (making them ValueX = HyperX wannabe smile.gif ) and i wonder if there's a way to remove the warranty sticker nicely so that when accident happen and I need to RMA I can still pasang balik the sticker without traces?
