It's the quantity.. in a jar meaning it's in a plastic jar good for storage. In a zippy bag.. means it's a sealed zipper that zips your product in. 1/4 is 1 portion, and 1/2 is double.

So.. it depends how much products do you want to purchase, the more you purchase, the cheaper it is.
