Broken cable TMnet can really do anything about it, though I blame them for everything else.
Where is the contingency plan? Why Singpapre has better connectivity even with this cable break even though the cable supposed to affect all the countries in this region ? Because they have better failover plan, one assumes.
TMnet just have better fail plan. That is they fail better than anybody else.

I'm sure he was using a totally scientific way to determine this.. like time the blinking of those cute green lights while singing "money money money..." QUOTE(Odinn @ Jan 14 2009, 09:47 PM) Update: technician came to my place this evening around 5-ish. He claims that the cause of the issue is because I currently use the 2MB connection. He further claims that my condo doesn't have support for 2MB. So since August 08 until last week, I was on 2MB with no issue. Until last Saturday and up till today, I've had this. He said I should go downgrade to 1MB connection. All he did was just try his modem then tested my modem and said "have to downgrade". Of course I didn't agree and decided to write to TM directly on this and say to get a supervisor or manager to call me ASAP. This is a joke of a reason.

Crap internet connections since March. I want a decent internet connection, not your stupid rebate.
Too bad there isnt a raspberry award for worst ISP provider, TMNet will win year after year.

TMnet "service interruptions" is the normal operation state.
If i get one whole month without any interruptions then something strange is going on..
Thanks for making me quit the online games I (previously) enjoyed but are now so slow I am better off sending my instructions by email to the game server. To the nine levels of hell with more "broadband penetration", TMNet is so thick-skinned even the constant complaints cant penetrate their collective numbskulls
