Oh, gosh. Certain websites have been very slow for me this afternoon. Really frustrating.

I haven't been able to connect since Wednesday.

The message I get when I try connecting through my router is "Can not get IP from PPPoE service", and when I bypass the router, it's "The remote computer is not responding". I've called streamyx yesterday, but they'll look into it within the next two working days.

Ugh. *headdesks*

I just want my Internet.

So I called streamyx again last night about my I-cannot-connect-to-the-Internet-for-the-past-week problem. Guess what? Apparently, they outsource their wireless internet service to another department, and they hadn't forwarded my report to that department at all. In fact, the previous person I spoke to had no idea that I was using wireless internet even though he'd referred to the report I made on Sunday, according to the technician I spoke to last night. (Nice.)

Anyway, he said he would forward my report to the respective department and I should expect a call from them today before lunch, but I've gotten no call yet, and look at what time it is now. I'll call streamyx later to ask about them.

Ugh! I'm so sick of this waiting game. I just want my Internet, darnit! I really need the Internet for school/work purposes, and the lack of connectivity has seriously caused a lot of inconvenience in that aspect.

*headdesks some more*

(I'm at school, by the way.)

Ditto. Also, if this goes on without any solution in sight for ... say, the whole month, then why should I pay RM99 for this month when I've not even used it at all?

ETA: No one's called me yet. Darnit. vmad.gif

Alas, Jaring Wired is unavailable in my area. Not too sure about its wireless counterpart though, because the page to check its coverage refuses to load for me.

And I got a reply to the email I sent to streamyx a couple of days ago. Apparently, my report has already been settled. To quote MADtv's parody of Korean dramas, "HUUUUUH?"

You reports has already been settled, but did they settle with your problem? laugh.gif

My connection was dropping a lot last night. Had to keep restarting my router. Ugh.

I haven't been able to connect to the Internet for two weeks, starting from 7th April. I kept getting Error 691 in the first week, even though I haven't changed any of my account details at all. Then from last Thursday, I started getting Error 678.

I've called streamyx numerous times but to no avail. I've just come back from TMpoint where they've filed a case and would supposedly send a technician down in the next two days. Just peachy.

To say this whole ordeal is frustrating would be a severe understatement. vmad.gif

After making more than ten phone calls and a trip to TMpoint, and waiting for a technician to drop by, my Internet's back. Telekom then called my sister this morning and said that the lack of connectivity was due to a ... problem with their tower.

Thumbs up, Telekom, thumbs up.

I'd like to think their tower went out of commission again for a bit, and it's just s-l-o-w-l-y getting back up on its feet. I was randomly disconnected half an hour ago and just got back my connection, but certain websites are slow to load.

*shakes fist*

Ugh. Certain websites like deviantART and Photobucket keep ending in network timeouts. What the heck, man.
