I'm on a 1 mbps package but was stuck with a 352/448 Kbps connection recently.

Emailed a complaint to streamyx in a polite and 'civilised' manner just to get their attention, a few emails later with tmnet is still reluctant to acknowledge that i have a problem, i pointed out that it was in their policy that if my speed was under 70% they'd investigate it. A few WEEKS later apparently it was fixed , 1024/448 Kbps, very fast.

A month later, just as I was thinking of sending a heartfelt thank you letter to tmnet , i sensed a disturbance in the tubes, so i checked with mr modem, lo and behold the diabolical numbers 352/448 returned to haunt me.. possibly forever

I give up.

C*ck. These few days in front of my PC is like a battle with Screamyx. Everything is pathetic and I cant even go into 4chan.org today

yesterday can download at speeds of 50kb/s ...
from noon till now , its 5kb/s .......zzzzzzzz

what IPs are u guyz using.... it is widely believed / proven that 115.. and 118... in fact all are crap with exception of 60....

60.xx also crappy now.

what the f***. just about 10-11pm, sudddenly my MS downloads went down - again. Now trying very hard to get 50KB/sec..

and there is no annoucement on tmnet/streeetmix about this slow down?? Or they only consider 0kb/s as "service disruption"??

This is the worst gets to worsen situation, the government really should do something about this. A total crap service for the people using it.

I'm totally flabbergasted. I know it's common knowledge that Streamyx f***s up like once every couple of months, but this shit has gone on for like months!

I am really frustrated with Streamyx now. Any ISP to recommend? I am in Sunway... Ridzuan Condo to be exact...

try JARING flite wired broadband if u are withing klang valley. no regret. i've been using since august last year. very stable. IP address start with 192 . no nonsense ip address.

need to check port avalability for your area though , to apply.
