1600*1200 is quite smooth but 2560*1920 lags like mad even with less then 10 pictures. also, higher mp doesn't mean better looking pictures.

QUOTE(Love 414 @ Jan 13 2009, 02:31 PM) may i know how many pictures do u all keep in the phone??? higher resolution doesn't guarantee better looking pictures. higher resolution picture is more detailed, that's just about it. but lets say that you develop the same picture in 4R size, 1600*1200 and 2560*1920 is almost identical. bigger pictures like A3 size, obviously the 2560*1920 will look sharper then 1600*1200. high mp is no substitute for proper picture taking practices, like selecting the proper iso for certain lighting conditions.sorry higher resolution mean the pic will look better? is it?? or??? i always transfer pictures form phone to my at least once a week or after an event and catalog it. and clear off the pictures after the transfer. i see no point keeping pictures taken 2 years ago and it's a strain shuffling through those images, especially 2560*1920. QUOTE(y_owez @ Jan 13 2009, 03:35 PM) ic so for dialing only. i'm using 4gb and i find it more then enough for my photo taking sessions.so far as i know higher better esp if u wanna print out, will look nicer. 4gb memory not enuf ar? |

QUOTE(k00Lric @ Jan 13 2009, 05:16 PM) g400 titanium black - user reporting in. i guess askar perang has already answered for you Gonna try to update my phone to enable reading sms on the external screen. To those who have updated their phone firmware, is it easy to update the firmware? anyways, it took me a few tries to get connected to the server to download the firmware. you'll be prompt to backup before the upgrade, but i didn't and surprisingly the phonebook and messages were still intact, nothing removed. you can only read new sms through the external screen. not the entire sms folder. i only find this feature useful if i did not enable keylock for the external screen. with key lock enabled, i'd prefer to read it on the internal screen since flipping the phone open is much easier then pressing the puny 'hold' button. |

the external touch screen is fun to play. especially when taking pictures, changing camera settings is sooooo easy.
