its either now or never...things getting scarce by the minute...like that of mp04...mp01...i sense later on gc01...then rid fire convoy...all habis...

Added on March 22, 2008, 11:19 pm

c ur total haul since tf release...obviously more right?
*
hm talking about RiD fire convoy, is it true that his connecting parts are loose? i read reviews which complained on that, and how GF OP is an improvement when it comes to connecting parts (like the legs)....

and despite the fact that his robot mode is nice, RiD FConvoy has a funny cab mode (detached from the back part).... im skipping it, sadly.

hasbro ones may have the issue...takara aint that sure...

although funny cab mode i think most OP is like that...GC01 also pelik...kinda long for its size...all in all it must connect to sthing...else horrid...only MP or the recent TFTM are good by itself...
*
true bro smile.gif GF OP has a better looking standalone cab though wink.gif

despite the complains on TFTM OP design in the movies, i think both the Robovision and Leader class OP looks GREAT! smile.gif all the Leader class one need is some chrome lovin' drool.gif i'd get the premium if it werent for the fact that ive gotten the first batch one.

My RID OP's connecting parts work fine for me. The only problems I have is after combining, he's a little top heavy and the legs can't really handle the weight, thus posing him becomes a chore. smile.gif
*
yupe bro, thats what some reviewers were complaining about.... was contemplating of getting him a year ago, but after reading the review, and also that his standalone cab looks kinda "shortie", i've decided to skip him.... besides, he's not the usual Red/Blue Prime, ahaha biggrin.gif

find 1 and feel it to get the satisfaction and answers u want...like that of OP primal...after touching Cjlai's ones i think i may get him...he is superb in articulation.

yeah TFTM OP with rear cab is awesome...
*
sigh, ive always wanted AirAttack Primal.... he's a Masterpiece of the Beast era drool.gif

my sequence of buying a TF is:
1. See a mold i like..
2. Watch the cartoon/tv/movie to see that particular character.
3. Check the articulations (reviews, youtube)
4. Weight pros and cons (defects in mold, price vs rarity, etc)
5. check with LYN forumers thumbup.gif
6. set budget BEFORE checking eBay.
7. then check eBay
8. for new items (like TFA and TFTM), skip eBay and wait for retail wink.gif

Standalone cab of RID Prime looks weird, but I really love the robot modes, both normal, super and even combined modes look superb and that alone I believe is the selling point for the figure. Want weird robot mode? RID magnus all the way biggrin.gif
*
yes, the robot mode is excellent.... one of the nicest OP ive seen thumbup.gif

sadly, he's at SUPER goreng price now, even more so than the GC01 mold.

additional steps:
9. for Masterpiece, buy as soon as it comes out laugh.gif
10. for series currently ongoing, buy the toys that are featured in said series.
11. no repaints unless no choice tongue.gif

MP05 and MP06, grab them right now. They are already getting extremely scarce and you know it. In a very short period of time, the prices will go above RM350 and I'm sure you won't like that. nod.gif
*
i agree, MPSS and MP05 are currently at a good price.... i got my MP05 before the reissue, rm80 more expensive.

but seriously, if u dig the MP series, better get these two now...

MP01 and MP04, hopeless price now sad.gif
MP02, i skip cos i dont like the same mold in my collection, but depends on ur preferences smile.gif
MP03, SKIP it, get MPSS thumbup.gif

I think better forget it lor since u got DVD OP already... I dun think the takara brand is so crucial and worth RM500 more.
*
yupe, as much as i love the takara MP series, a price difference of RM100 and above between Hasbro and Takara is kinda ridiculous.... im first and foremost a collector who plays with his toys.. am not keeping them for resale purposes smile.gif

I like the battle damage one more than MP01.  rclxms.gif for the first time hasbro wins.
*
i like MP01 because of the toy AND the box.. heck, i still have the boxes for 90% of my TF collection (except the ones i buy loose from eBay)

MP boxes sure are classy drool.gif

tonite topic : Why we must BUY MP-05
*
hehe:
1. He's a Masterpiece, to pair with MP Prime
2. Despite the fact that he's DA*N difficult to transform, you have to admit the ingenuity and the engineering that went into designing a scale-up true replica of a Walther P38 that can transform into a G1 recognizable Megatron notworthy.gif
3. I still think he's the Ultimate Megatron, although he's not really stable to pose due to the waist/hip joints.

there! rclxms.gif
