Just sharing yea.
I have a GR who just finished his Basic Obedience classes organised by puppy.com at Taman Desa. Every Sunday for the past 4 months. Officially it's 10 lessons la but that being said, if your pooch needs extra guidance or tuition, they'll help you out. That's the difference between real dog lovers/enthusiasts and those doing it for business.

For the price I paid for, it was worth every dem sen cos at least I learnt (Yes I said 'I learnt') how a responsible dog owner should act. The dog just needs to have the correct instructions cos they're basically smart animals. It's the humans that got it wrong. Trust me. You'll be glad you had those classes.

I'd advise people who intend to have their doggies trained to go along and do the training themselves. What's the point of having a dog when you let someone else teach him/her about obedience? IMO those who do that are not fit to be dog owners cos the responsibility it not just, 'I buy you, then I feed you then I hope someone else teaches you to be good cos I got no time'. All BS la. If no time then don't have the dog. Let someone who can shower him/her with the love and attention it deserves. They're living creatures too. I know some of you will be offended but that's the truth and you know it. Too many strays/unwanted pregnancies/abandoned/neglected canines around to testify to this.

To those who are really keen to send your doggies for the classes. A big Thank you cos you're helping to reduce the above said problems and Ganbatte cos you'll need it to survive 'YOUR' training. Cheers.

I enrolled my dog in the class, too, last September (she was about 9 months old), and yes, the trainers are super nice and love dogs!

He said my baby girl very good, got good discipline and she's very confident dog.

Hehe- yea ofcourse, since I do spoil her but don't give her face when she's naughty! smile.gif

BTW, my dog is a GR and I SPAYED her, one of the reasons being I want her to live longer and since she's born with a genetic defect, I do not want to be responsible for future generations of puppies with the same problem. It is heart breaking.

And I cannot stand to see a dog in pain from uterus infection, one of my dogs had it, it was so severe. But she survived and that was 8 years ago when she was 7.

i do it in ikano power centre. K9 traning. I cant afford much as i adopted from spca (Which i VOW i will never adopt one from them again). He charged me RM200 only and RM350 for pedigree. Alot of dogs were trained by him. He says that "i train the owner, not the dog"

btw, he is a malay who owns few germans and few mongrels. happy.gif
