Just sharing yea.
I have a GR who just finished his Basic Obedience classes organised by puppy.com at Taman Desa. Every Sunday for the past 4 months. Officially it's 10 lessons la but that being said, if your pooch needs extra guidance or tuition, they'll help you out. That's the difference between real dog lovers/enthusiasts and those doing it for business.
For the price I paid for, it was worth every dem sen cos at least I learnt (Yes I said 'I learnt') how a responsible dog owner should act. The dog just needs to have the correct instructions cos they're basically smart animals. It's the humans that got it wrong. Trust me. You'll be glad you had those classes.
I'd advise people who intend to have their doggies trained to go along and do the training themselves. What's the point of having a dog when you let someone else teach him/her about obedience? IMO those who do that are not fit to be dog owners cos the responsibility it not just, 'I buy you, then I feed you then I hope someone else teaches you to be good cos I got no time'. All BS la. If no time then don't have the dog. Let someone who can shower him/her with the love and attention it deserves. They're living creatures too. I know some of you will be offended but that's the truth and you know it. Too many strays/unwanted pregnancies/abandoned/neglected canines around to testify to this.
To those who are really keen to send your doggies for the classes. A big Thank you cos you're helping to reduce the above said problems and Ganbatte cos you'll need it to survive 'YOUR' training. Cheers.
