Windows Vista Service Pack 1 for all 36 languages (wave1) have been released today by Microsoft to the general public for free download, 6 days later than previously said. Windows Vista users who has no privilege to download the service pack from TechNet and MSDN subscription sites, where the SP1 for Windows Vista is been released two months earlier, can now download the standalone update package for Windows Vista SP1 to install upgrade the Windows Vista RTM version 6.0.6000.16386.

i advise is, DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL IT. i just install it this morning, then had to format my hdd again. so messy here and there after install it.. vista2.... haih..

i dont have any issues with SP1 offline installer. weird if got ppl claiming such problemo after update to SP1

just from my experience..

duno. i just use auto update biggrin.gif then IT ask me want or not this SP1. got 3 updates for SP1. i just click ok to all updates. haha

Btwm this stupid thing i jes updated it yesterday to IDT audio. Damn giving me a lot problem on this. If i update to the latest driver then there will be a problem for this. Hai.. Duno waht to do also rclxub.gif

If i update to IDT which I did yesterday, there will be no audio detected. So i follow some instruction on google and manage to bring the sound system up but nope for the song. So i roll back to the old Sigmatel. Wonder what should i do... doh.gif

Can i jes overwrite it and download manual and install it?

Latest: Yeah, at last WU automactically for SP1. Last time no auto cause by stupid onboard chipset sound card by Sigmatel and now known as IDT.

Damn 9 sien. Start up time is longer. Didnt notice any significant changes while transfering file from pendrive or pocket drive. Zzzzz
