Safari is a web browser developed by Apple Inc. and included in Mac OS X. It was first released as a public beta on January 7, 2003, and a final version was included as the default browser in Mac OS X v10.3. Previously i tested it. Ehmm some site is not support by Safari.
GTalk unable to work in GMail.

If this is working then i shall use it. Coz the speed is really faster.

safari is fast and beautiful

but one thing i dont like about it is that the memory leak issue have never been solve ;(

Safari needs extension and support from developers to stand out as its speed is what I like. I need to get the StumbleUpon toolbar on it.

Launching the browser is faster than Firefox; safety wise I'm sure it's way better than IE 7.

it will auto copy the ie7 bookmark when you install safari. Just click the Bookmarks ---> Show All Bookmarks, then you'll see BOOKMARKS --> Imported IE Favorites.

Memory leaks not solved! It even occurs on iPhone too.

But memory handling part not so good

hi guys... i just started to use safari and i think its a good browser...

anyways i have a slight problem which is the scrolling up and down using the mouse is very slow... anyone know how to adjust it to be a lil faster...

How you guys save passwords and username? Look like it dont have that function. Or is it happen to me only?

Go to --> Edit --> Preferences.. --> Autofill --> check the box = User names and passwords.

the interface is very nice and smooth

but the scrolling up and down is very slow la... but other than that it's a very good browser and at least something different from firefox and IE...

It installs a whole load of crap like iTunes and Bonjour that eats up memory. I dont like that about safari. I'll just wait for the Firefox3 final.

No save session feature like FF2 + Save Session plug-in. Damn useful to recover from a browser crash.

hard to use ler with the great memory leak even though i admit it is a bit faster compared to firefox in terms of loading

i've tried this browser, n the result's : fantastic!!!

well for me memory leak is a big problem and one more thing i dun like about safari is that i cannot press my scroll mouse and move the direction i wanted to scroll like in firefox or IE.

I trying both FF and Safari now. FF got 6 tabs. 62MB RAM. Safari? 3 tabs, 68MB RAM.

Safari first run will tend to be more resource-extensive AFAIK.

my safari eat 100mb without any tab

while i can open 6tab with maxthon eating up 95mb only

have to agree with u... besides that it doesnt other shortcut feature compare to other browser but the interface is cool which i like it vey much... btw the speed is quite satisfying too...

It's font smoothing, you can configure it via "Edit">"Preference..." under "Appearance" tab, locate "Font smoothing" and change it to "Standard - best for CRT" or any other options that suits you best.

i love the page rendering in safari. it's beautiful.
