Hi guys, Im wondering if it is worth to get a second hand Optra..
Currently im driving saga fl year 2011.. Honestly I dont really like this car especially national car.. the feeling of love is just not there.. I know its the most practical car to drive but i juz need to love my ride right?
Ive seen some car below 20-30k, and I think Chevy optra is kinda attractive.. they're probably 2005 car.. almost 10 years ald. Im that kind of person who uses second hand stuffs throughout my life so its fine for me. Read some reviews saying that it suffers from bad FC and hard to get spareparts..
I visisted Fuelly website where ppl report their fuel mileage, average for optra is around 10 km/l .. whereas my saga is 11.4 which i think is bad.. If i were to change to optra im not sure if its considered an upgrade or downgrade LoL.. for practical purpose of coz saga is better la. But im a kind who love cars
What do you guys think. any optra users can share opinions?
definitely an upgrade, saga until today even the latest model is a 3 star NCAP rating while optra was a.k.a holden viva in Australia receiving at least a 4 star NCAP for the hatchback variant I think.Currently im driving saga fl year 2011.. so it's kerb is definitely safer compared than saga...
on FC side with better kerb safety means slightly higher weight and therefore higher FC for optra.
for city driving u can get around 8km/L while highway can get u 12-13km/L
so your average of 10km/L is about right.
besides that optra comes with ABS, EBD, 1.8 optra magnum has TCS as well.
go test drive one and feel the difference!
