I sincerely need your help.
I have a MBP 3,1 17" late 2007 model. Model no: A1229.
The problem is with my inverter board for the LCD screen. It's faulty and keeps on turning off the screen. (but the back light is still on)
I need a new inverter board and I was hoping that you may have a spare. It's about $15 online, I would buy one but there are 3 inverter type models for the 17" LCD MBP and I'm not sure.

Do let me know if you can help me fix it. I need it asap. Don't plan to sell it cuz I just upgraded the RAM to 4gb a few weeks ago and it's in perfect working condition.
