i dunno is there an organization to control the quality of the remisier?
My remisier is dam noob

the incident happen when i come to the pay-day for my share trading
he always arrange an assistant to base in office to handle phone call and misc matter
so i tell him that i have make the payment through online banking which is CIMB and RHB
i give him the reference number and time

then he start asking me the following question
- which branch have u bank in the money?
- is is cash or cheque?
- how come the ur cheque number so long ( obviously it is not cheque, it is online trasaction ref number)
- where is "online banking"?
- the branch name is online?

my blood almost come out
and lastly i tell him: ya the bank is online bank, u just submit it to ur account

Easier way, change remiser, there are plenty remisers out there waiting to serve you. Now, it is very competitive, remisers are abundant, lot of them quit the job because of not enough business.

do a print screen to show him next time, maybe? unsure.gif

normally once i bank in, i'll just send a sms to my remisier
and my remisier will do the job, not asking any hanky panky questions

based on your story, the noobie is not your remisier, but the assistant that helping him, isn't?

If u need the advice from a remisier who survived the ups & downs, the 1997 crisis & been around in the share market for more than a decade, pm & let me know. All his clients still stayed loyal to him till today. As we know, many remisiers became bankrupt or switched professions when times were tough, when the market is bearish...it takes real knowledge & hard work to remain top of the field.

Normally there is no assign remisier when you are trading using online account. That is why it is cheaper. I would recommend the services of a remisier when you are new though.

Not necessary. But you can have multiple trading account if you wish. Not necessary only open one online account.

If needed open another with remiser one. Commission might be a little bit higher but at least remiser can help you to solve some issues if you are not familiar enough with the market.

Sure can.

For remiser one, one also can have 2,3 or even more trading accounts with different remisers.

I am sorry to hear of your horrible experience. However, these days more and more Malaysia brokerages have online trading which comprises of interesting tools, such as buy limit, stop limit, trailing limit, etc. And trading online is typically most efficient!
