Always got "CALL FAILED" problem after upgraded to 1.1.4 using ziphone 2.5c. But i'm still able to receive call.. Whenever i encounter this, i have to run ziphone 2.5c agian to solve the problem. But after 1 or 2 weeks later, the same problem will come back again n this is already my 3rd times

QUOTE(futobuta @ Mar 18 2008, 08:52 AM) Totally cannot call out?! Not even a call? Ya, totally n completely cannot call out. Can receive calls, send sms? If all also cannot, r u sure your's unlocked properly or not? Most of the "Call Failed" problems Maxis users face happen 'occasionally' only. Still can call out. can receive call , can send and receive sms what i did for the unlock is just restore to 1.1.4 from itune and then execute ziphone 2.5c (do it all). |

QUOTE(futobuta @ Mar 18 2008, 11:40 AM) Happens everywhere or only in your house? it happened anywhere ...Anyway, if that happened only after u upgraded to 1.1.4, maybe u should try restoring and re-do the whole process all over again. Restore, Jaiilbreak, Activate, Unlock, Appsupport..... blah blah blah.... then try again. if it happens again, probably i have to try restore and do it all over again. becoz the previous time, i did not restore it, but only jailbreak, activate and unlock. |

QUOTE(evar9 @ Mar 20 2008, 02:23 PM) isn't it better to use iplus 2.0b instead of ziphone? heard that ziphone unlocking/activation/jailbreak methods are actually not reversible as opposed to iplus? evar9, edit: by the way, i have this call failed problem as well. so there isn't anything we can do to solve this rite now? edit2: Update: Problem solved by turning "Call Waiting" & "Call Forwarding" OFF and "Send User ID" ON. When was the last time you had this problem? btw, "Send User ID" = "Show My Caller ID" right ? |

QUOTE(evar9 @ Mar 22 2008, 04:07 PM) I had the problem 2 days ago. Everything seems to be working fine once the "Show My Caller ID" gets turned on. Really hope this will solve the problem... Call failed will still turn up time to time, but usually a redial will make it go away this has nothing to do with the line but its the phone problem. most of u guys said this is a known bug from MAXIS, whereby occasionally you will get the 'call failed' problem but after try you will still able to get thu. but this is different as it completely cannot call out no mattter how many times u try |
