Don't think it is simcard related. It is Maxis' network problem lah.

Well whichever way, that means iPhone is not maxis-friendly? meaning to avoid probs, users must now use other Telcos instead? I am a hotlink user btw.

Yes, DIGI.....always the smarter choice.
However, I'm still sticking to the not
so smart choice, Maxis. Hehe.
Just too much hassle to change
numbers.

I don't know if u guys noticed this.. If u call a number and its engaged, the iPhone also displays "Call Failed"

I was in Macau and HK last month and I had none of these "Call Failed" problems while on their network. Used to think Maxis is the best but everyone I talk to seems to agree they're seriously slacking..but we can't just change provider, its too much of a hassle.

Totally cannot call out?! Not even a call? hmm.gif
Can receive calls, send sms? If all also cannot,
r u sure your's unlocked properly or not?

Most of the "Call Failed" problems Maxis users
face happen 'occasionally' only. Still can call out.

Ya, totally n completely cannot call out.
can receive call , can send and receive sms

what i did for the unlock is just restore to 1.1.4 from itune and then execute ziphone 2.5c (do it all).
